Storm disrupts camporee

A Wednesday afternoon downpour has disrupted activities, damaged tents and sent stormwater through the camporee site. The round of activities was suspended and then cancelled as heavy rain pummeled the Toowoomba showgrounds.

Four clubs suffered serious damage to their tents and camporee organisers are finding alternative accommodation for about 60 Pathfinders. Others now contend with water in their camp sites and mud underfoot.

But as these photos attest, Pathfinder remain in good spirits and the evening meeting is expected to go ahead as planned.
